ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Property Basics was founded by Sam Rice, a highly experienced construction professional and director of a licensed construction business operating across QLD, NSW, and the ACT. With over 20 years in the industry, Sam has seen firsthand the challenges homeowners face when building, extending or renovating. Too often, poor workmanship and a lack of guidance lead to costly mistakes, frustration and uncertainty - especially for those unfamiliar with the industry.
Determined to bridge this gap, Sam created Property Basics to make quality building knowledge accessible to all homeowners. His goal is to simplify the process, provide trusted insights, and ensure homeowners feel confident making informed decisions - whether they are managing a project for the first them or looking to avoid common pitfalls.
